Salesforce offer multiple approaches to help with file management and team collaboration. You can post files to chatter feeds, records, or publish them into libraries. Dynamo support Salesforce Files and Salesforce CRM Content for storing, sharing and managing templates or outcome documents.

Salesforce Files

You can organize and access your files from the Files tab.

  • To share files with other users, you can post files to Chatter feeds.
  • To keep information right where you need, you can add files directly to records, such as Accounts, Opportunities, Leads, and more.

Salesforce CRM Content (recommended)

Salesforce CRM Content simplifies the content management and helps to organize, share and search all type of content in the organization easily.

  • To share files with other users, you can publish files to library and add members into the libraries
  • To keep information right where you need, you can either use ContentDocumentLink (preferred) or create record type for the files and use lookup relationship to link the document to the corresponding record (for updating smart document)
